Established in 2003, The Advanced Group of companies is an integrated pharmaceutical enterprise headquartered in Moscow, Russia.
We are a dynamic, fast-growing organization that specializes in the development, manufacturing and distribution of pharmaceutical products.
We are highly committed to and responsive to the social and business environment that we operate in. We have set up 3 manufacturing units, equipped with best-in-class technology and adhering to all the local and international manufacturing standards.
Leadership
Rajesh Sharma
FOUNDER & CEO
Rajesh is a first-generation entrepreneur and the founder of the Advanced group of companies. He started his career with an Indian MNC and moved to Russia on an international assignment in 1991.
Upon seeing the potential of business development between India and Russia, he commenced his venture in 2003 and expanded business in areas covering pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, and other products.
He was a founder member (1994) and President (2000 – 2003) of the Indian Business Alliance in Moscow and continues to serve on the Advisory Board of the IBA. He works in close association with the Indian Embassy on various education and business-related programs.
Mikhail Georgievich Biron
Deputy General Director – TB Sales
A highly qualified professional (from 2nd Moscow State Medical Institute named after. N.I. Pirogov and Moscow Higher Technical School named after. N.E. Bauman), Dr Biron has a doctorate in medical science and has also been an academician.
Dr Biron’s vast experience in sales at the municipal and Federal levels of the Russian Federation, especially in the anti-tuberculosis sphere is unparalleled.
The combination of his medical expertise and sales acumen makes him a core pillar to the growth of the company. He heads Sales and Marketing for the Tuberculosis business.
Jaykishan Sharma
Deputy General Director – Business Development
Jay is an engineer and an MBA in International Business. With 15+ years of experience across sales, marketing, business development and project management in multinational FMCG and Health enterprises, Jay is a result-oriented Manager who thrives in uncertain and nascent environments. With a very high emphasis on quality excellence, he has played a key role in Advanced Group’s foray into manufacturing. His ability to troubleshoot problems and his hands-on approach sees him manage multiple functions like Infrastructure projects, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, Intellectual Property, IT etc for the Group.
Anna Andreevna Ivanova
Executive Director
A graduate from the Moscow School of Management “Skolkovo”, Anna has worked in various capacities in the regional governments of Leningrad and Irkutsk regions. She has been involved in strategic and project management as well as providing assistance to investors in the implementation of projects.
As a growth-oriented professional, Anna is continually learning and has also pursued qualifications in project management, digital transformation, performance management.
Anna handles Institutional Sales Operations, Logistics and Procurement for the company.
Rakesh Cukkemane
Commercial Director
A seasoned professional with 26+ years of experience in various segments of the pharmaceutical business value chain.Rakesh has worked in diverse markets like India, Venezuela, Caribbeans, CIS and Russia. He is experienced in handling cross functional teams, target audience, clients and business partners in multicultural/ multilinguistic work environments.
His primary skill of coupling the present business with portfolio ideation, evaluation of Business Development opportunities, delivering performance in a VUCA environment coupled with a focused approach has helped to achieve profitable growth and expanding market share.
Rakesh is responsible for Retail Sales and setting up new sales verticals for the company.
